Quinquis Park: History

In 1989, the Parc du Quinquis opened its doors to present a new concept to you, that of a place which brings together several animal species which coexist in perfect symbiosis and in complete freedom, but above all which remain in direct contact with visitors. You can also discover oak trees several hundred years old, preserved vegetation specific to Brittany and 14 small refreshing water sources.

Karl REGARDIN, the park manager, watches day and night to offer you the best visiting experience by offering you a pleasant walk over 8 hectares to discover no less than 200 varieties of animals. Alpacas, rabbits, chickens, sheep, peacocks, golden pheasants, Bennett’s wallabies, deer, Canada geese and many others will meet you at Parc du Quinquis. Your children will be pleasantly surprised to be able to be in direct contact with their favorite animals.

The park is also a place full of history where you can discover an Iron Age stele dating from La Tène (350 to 50 BC) and a feudal mound dating from the 11th to 12th century. To learn more about these eras, come and get lost in age-old trails!

The Quinquis park: Parcabout

For even more family fun, the Parc du Quinquis opened a Parcabout area in 2018. It is a huge net structure, hung on the trees, allowing you to play, run and even jump in complete safety and without harness in the middle of the trees and above the void. A truly unique acrobatic attraction that appeals to both children and adults!

The Parcabout is installed within the Parc du Quinquis in such a way as to respect nature, the trees and all the vegetation that surrounds it. It is also personalized according to each park and the allocated surface area. It is therefore of a unique character. It also represents a privileged and unusual place to organize shows, see plays and screen films in the open air.

However, very important to know: Parcabout is a private company which rents its location. The Parc du Quinquis disclaims any responsibility linked to its proper functioning.

The Parcabout attraction is accessible from 4 years old. For safety reasons, wearing jeans and closed shoes is strongly recommended.
