On board the little Breton train, discover Concarneau and its surprising history, not far from your accommodation at the 3-star campsite Le Kervastard!

The tour begins at 1 Place Jean Jaurès, the train parking point on the Peneroff quay, opposite the Ville-Close access bridge. It continues along the corniche to the legendary Sables Blancs beach, via Dames beach and Cornouaille beach. Finally, the train returns and completes the circuit. In total, the visit lasts 35 to 40 minutes to show you the most emblematic places in Concarneau.

Throughout the walk, you will be entitled to comments with musical background. Several foreign languages are available: English, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch, to satisfy tourists.

The little Breton train in Concarneau: practical information

The little tourist train in Concarneau is stationed every day from April 5 to September 30 at the same address: 1 Place Jean Jaurès, 29900 Concarneau.

An individual ticket for the little Breton train at full price is €6.50. It is reduced to €4.50 for visitors under 18 and becomes free for children under 5.

The adult group ticket is €5.25. It is reduced to €3.75 for children and school groups.

From April 5 to July 15 and from September 1 to September 30, only one train is in circulation according to the following schedules:

  • 10:30 a.m. > 11:30 a.m. > 12:30 p.m.
  • 2:00 p.m. > 3:00 p.m. > 4:00 p.m. > 5:00 p.m.

From July 16 to August 31, two trains will run on the same route according to the following timetables:

Train No. 1:

  • 10:30 a.m. > 11:30 a.m. > 12:15 p.m.
  • 1:30 p.m. > 2:30 p.m. > 3:30 p.m. > 4:30 p.m. > 5:30 p.m. > 6:15 p.m.

Train No. 2:

  • 2:00 p.m. > 3:00 p.m. > 4:00 p.m. > 5:00 p.m.

In South Finistère, in Brittany, the Celtic’Train is located in 3 different towns: Concarneau, Quimper and Bénodet.

Bénodet

In Bénodet, the little train is operational every day from May 15 to September 15 at the following times:

  • 10:30 a.m. > 11:30 a.m. > 12:15 p.m.
  • 2:00 p.m. > 3:00 p.m. > 4:00 p.m. > 5:00 p.m. > 6:00 p.m.

The visit lasts 40 minutes to help you discover the beauty of the Odet river, but above all to spend a pleasant time in the town of Bénodet, the 5-star seaside resort of Brittany.

Quimper

In Quimper, you can find the little train at the starting point: 1 rue Roi Gradlon, 29000 QUIMPER at the following times:

From April 5 to July 15 and from September 1 to September 30:

From July 16 to August 31:

The visit lasts 40 minutes and retraces the most emblematic monuments of the city of Quimper such as the cathedral, Place Terre au Duc, Place de la Résistance and the theater.
